On-site Assessment and Training (OSAT) helps experienced scaffolding and temporary access workers get the qualifications required to prove they can do the job. It turns their existing skills and scaffolding experience into a nationally recognised qualification such as an NVQ or SVQ. The whole process is carried out on site so students don't have to take time off to go to college. Training courses all the way from basic scaffolding through to NVQ level are available. Assessed route of entry courses are available to scaffolders with industry experience, but no recognised qualifications.
