The Scaffolder Apprenticeship programme is held over at least 18 months at Accredited Centres for people between 18 and 23 years old. Scaffolder Apprenticeship programme includes the training route to qualify as a CISRS Scaffolder and NVQ Level 2. The Apprenticeship scheme is structured to allow scaffolder trainees more time to complete the Intermediate Construction Award (ICA), attend the practical training courses, and complete NVQ.
On-site Assessment and Training (OSAT)
On-site Assessment and Training (OSAT) helps experienced scaffolding and temporary access workers get the qualifications required to prove they can do the job.
OSAT turns your existing skills and scaffolding experience into a nationally recognised qualification such as an NVQ or SVQ. The whole process is carried out on site so students don't have to take time off to go to college. Training courses all the way from basic scaffolding through to NVQ level are available. Assessed route of entry courses are available to scaffolders with industry experience, but no recognised qualifications.
